THE NECTAR

The Schwarzschmied therefore combines tradition and modernity. It has been run by the second generation for several years and the new boss, Klaus Dissertori, knows the preferences of the younger guests and complements the hotel's repertoire without disappointing the regulars. The renovations of recent years have added creative design elements to the house and given it a new, chic aura, while the lovable charm of the house has been retained.

The house has always stood for excellent cuisine. In the evening a changing and excellent 5-course menu awaits us (a completely separate menu is offered for vegans). It should be mentioned here that the neighboring sister restaurant Reichhalter 1477 also belongs to the same owner family and surprisingly surpasses the culinary experience here again. An absolute must do!

As mentioned, however, the hip city guests will also be delighted with the corresponding yoga program and wellness area. A mix of regional and temporarily changing yoga teachers guarantees variety and high quality in the yoga practice and the wellness area with two pools and saunas rounds off the daily relaxation. The only thing we would want is a plunge pool!

A special recommendation is also the romantically beautiful Villa Arnica, which also belongs to the Dissertori family and is operated as an adults-only hotel in a historic Italian city villa. You can find our visit to Villa Arnica HERE.

THE PULSE

Indulgence and being active go hand in hand. And as famous as Lana is for food and drink, the range of sports is just as varied. In summer there are a variety of hikes and mountain bike tours that start right outside the hotel. Various guided hikes are offered by the hotel every week and those who like to be on their own can choose the right one from an offer ranging from a challenging hut hike to a joyful walk on the panoramic promenade. In winter, the small Vigiljoch ski area is located directly in Lana, while the more modern Merano 2000 is only a few minutes away by car. Either way, we are drawn back to the bar in the evening: the magazine selection could hardly better match the zeitgeist, the Negroni with homemade tomato chips is excellent and what else does it take to end an active day happily.
