‘If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you’. —Steve Jobs
‘Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe’. —Oprah Winfrey
What makes you wanna leap out of bed in the morning? (even if you are not a morning person, like Tanja ?) – a BIG, BIG vision! It can be yours or someone else’s. Your vision is the light in the darkness. It keeps you on track. What do you want to innovate, improve or change? What’s your intention? What kind of value do you wanna create? What kind of difference do you wanna make in your life? Your vision always reminds you why you started in the first place. It’s like the fuel in your car. Note to self: Play big! What’s the worst that could happen? You have nothing to lose.
‘Action without vision is only passing time, vision without action is merely day dreaming, but vision with action can change the world’. —Nelson Mandela
Once you’ve decided on one, stick to it. It might take some time until your vision shows any results. Let it evolve. Some visions need 30 or more years to become implemented successfully. Give yourself and your business time. And also know when to stop and do something else.
Set goals in order to realise your vision. Goals should be measurable, with a realistic date. Many people have too many goals for one year and not enough goals for 10 years. However, they should also be inspiring to you!
P.S.: Failure is not a bad thing. In the US you have to fail in order to become a successful business person. Only in Germany are you thought a loser if you do. Get back on your feet. Carry on.
‘Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others’. —Jonathan Swift
