‘Travel is something you pay for but which makes you richer’.
For quite some time money wasn’t really a focal point of ours while working on Nectar & Pulse. We are idealists by heart and just wanted to make an awesome travel guide.
After some lessons learned we changed some dysfunctional contexts about money in general, earning and investing money, and especially earning money with what we love doing most. ‘Do we deserve to earn money with something as beautiful as travelling?’ The answer is: ¥€$!
For those of you who wanna start a business: Take good care of your numbers. Analyse them regularly, control them and use them to your advantange to optimise your business. In order to make your business sustainable, successful and rich in growth: love money + numbers! If you don’t – try to find out why or even better what for? Money is not bad as society often pretends. Money creates possibilities. Money is power. Pay your bills. And know what you are worth. Don’t sell yourself under your worth. Do your bookkeeping. It’s as important as all the creative (fun) stuff! ☺ Believe us—we know what we are talking about. Get yourself some good advisers: bookkeepers, tax advisers, financial advisers, lawyers, coaches. People you trust.
Money is social: you as business owner create work places, pay loans, etc… The more successful you are, the more taxes you pay, the more your country can invest back into society. And you yourself can invest in things which make life even more beautiful. ☺ If you win, everyone wins with you.
‘Money doesn’t make you happy—but no money doesn’t either’. —Stephan & Maria Craemer
