Rooms: In 1995 nine historic interconnected medieval houses were renovated and brought back to life as the Widder Hotel, a property that today is arguably one of the best in all of Switzerland. 42 rooms and 7 suites are spread throughout this luxurious labyrinth, each one with its own particular charm, and all with state-of-the-art technology and creature comforts. We’ve rarely seen a place where old and new blend so well.

Indeed, impressive is a word to describe the entire hotel, whose unique design makes use of different kinds of wood, stone, and furnishings in every house. It’s almost an experience unto itself to explore the thoughtful ways architect Tilla Theus managed to combine 700 years of history from the buildings, with modern and stylish influences so perfectly.
